1. Preparation, upstream
A dedicated committee identifies and pre-selects projects, supports their technical, financial and legal maturation, then structures them into bankable proposals.
FECIS · FECIS 2026 — 2nd edition
How does FECIS prepare the forum and follow up on its outcomes?
FECIS is more than three days of meetings: it rests on three pillars — preparing projects upstream, brokering during the forum and following up commitments afterwards — and builds on work started by CCIMA North in 2022.
A dedicated committee identifies and pre-selects projects, supports their technical, financial and legal maturation, then structures them into bankable proposals.
Projects are presented to investors, alongside targeted matchmaking sessions and panels on financial instruments.
Selected projects are supported, negotiations are facilitated and commitments are tracked over six to twelve months.
Garoua Economic and Trade Fair in February 2022, alongside the AFCON; Septentrion International Agro-pastoral Industries Show (SIAGROS) in June 2024; first FECIS on 9–10 December 2025; second edition 3 – 5 November 2026.
Participation, number of projects presented, value of financial commitments and number of partnerships concluded.
The forum’s general report, the investment project catalogue and strategic recommendations, once validated.
