Strategic corridor: CFAF 216 billion for the full reconstruction of the Ngaoundéré–Garoua road

Financed with the support of the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the State, the 240.85 km project will ease heavy transport between the port of Douala, the north of the country, Chad and the CAR.

Logistics connectivity in the Septentrion is reaching a historic milestone. MINEPAT has confirmed the CFAF 216 billion financial commitment for the complete rehabilitation of the vital road linking Ngaoundéré to Garoua.

This pivotal section is the link between the Trans-Cameroon railway terminus and the markets of the CEMAC sub-region.
