VIVA-Bénoué project: CFAF 117.8 billion of irrigation works for food sovereignty
Thousands of hectares of irrigated land developed, dykes modernised and rice and cereal cooperatives strengthened in the Bénoué valley.
The VIVA-Bénoué programme, supported by the World Bank and led by MEADEN under the supervision of MINEPAT, is speeding up the transformation of agriculture in the north. Irrigation works and the securing of rice plots open up significant investment opportunities in packaging and milling.
